The colours and dead matt finish of a textured paint effect were chosen to compliment the soft furnishings in a suit of rooms. The paint effect was run out over the walls, doors, skirting boards and fitted joinery. Subtle variations of colour and tone were introduced to differentiate the panels of doors and fitted cabinets. Distressed stencil work was used to incorporate focal points and thematic motifs. Ridgey gesso and decorative textured paint are useful treatments for the exclusive period interior.
