weathered old paint effect

This weathered paint effect, somehow reminiscent of drift wood or antique boiserie is a stringy base coat which has been patinated and wiped to reveal the high spots of the previous paint layer. The effect is reproducible in a variety of colour-ways, all however muted, softened and patinated to give the time worn appearance.
