This Italian design style has been rendered in a faux fresco finish using impasto texture and powdered pigments bound in acrylic. The intention is a replication of true fresco without the strictures and limitations imposed by working the walls with the real technique. This faux method immediately imbues the wall with a feeling of age, and that of a warm, worn surface.
